With the outpouring of the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, the blessings for all nations promised to Abraham commenced . The gift of the Holy Spirit is described as “the promise of the Father” in the New Testament, which connects this gift to the Abrahamic covenant. The promises to Abraham and his seed are fulfilled in the New Covenant inaugurated by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the gift of the Spirit is the guarantee that we will inherit all that God has promised.

Forgiveness connects the call of the tax collector to the healing of the paralytic – Christ’s authority to forgive sins  – Mark 2:13-17. When Jesus pronounced the paralytic man’s sins forgiven, he offended the Scribes and Pharisees. But he went on to alienate them even further by showing mercy “ to sinners ,” individuals considered unacceptable by religiously observant Jews. Seeing him eating with “ tax collectors ,” the Scribes and Pharisees insinuated that Jesus was also a notorious sinner – (Mark 2:1-17).

When we react to hostility with hostility and anger, Satan wins . The reality of persecution raises questions. How should we respond when attacked by the State, the culture, society, or even our family and friends? Is resorting to anger or retaliation appropriate, or should we emulate examples from the life of Jesus? In his teachings, he warned us to expect “ tribulation ,” and he summoned us to follow his path (“ If they persecuted me, so they will persecute you ”).

Иисус призвал своих учеников возвестить Благую весть о Его Царстве во всех населенных уголках Земли . Евангелие Иисуса Христа не направлено на реформирование общества или правительств. Его послание призывает всех людей покаяться и присоединиться к радикально новому общественному порядку и политической реальности - Царству Божьему . Его послание противоречит политическим идеологиям нынешнего мирового порядка. Мы должны положительно откликнуться на его приглашение, поскольку приближается конец эпохи, когда существующая система исчезнет с лица планеты.

Σύμφωνα με τον Ιησού, το τέλος δεν θα έρθει μέχρι το Ευαγγέλιο της Βασιλείας του Θεού έχει ανακηρυχθεί σε όλα τα έθνη - Ματθαίος 24:14. Όταν συζητείται η δεύτερη έλευση, τίθεται το ερώτημα ποιο “σημάδι” ή “σημάδια” θα προηγηθεί. Πάντα, οι πόλεμοι, οι σεισμοί, τα τσουνάμι, οι λιμοί και παρόμοιες καταστροφές προτείνονται ως προάγγελοι εκείνης της ημέρας. Ωστόσο, ο Ιησούς μας έδωσε την οριστική απάντηση σε αυτό το ερώτημα, δηλαδή την ολοκλήρωση της αποστολής της εκκλησίας να διακηρύξει τη σωτηρία και την κυριαρχία του πάνω σε όλα τα έθνη της Γης .
